To start with, this speech contest was organized by the Publicity Department of the Municipal Committee and the Education and Sports Bureau of Anqing City with the theme of 'Promoting Chinese Civilization and Undertaking Cultural Responsibilities'. To be concrete, a total of 34 contestants from the municipal-level schools engaged in a tense and fierce competition, among whom Li Zihan from Class 812 of Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High School Division won the top prize, Wang Lincan from Class 801  won the second prize, and Gao Jie from Class 209 of the Senior High School Division won the third prize. More remarkably, the three students focused on the theme of 'Promoting Chinese Civilization and Undertaking Cultural Responsibilities', using vivid language and examples from their daily lives to showcase the spirit and demeanor of our school's teachers and students who actively promote the incredible traditional Chinese culture and undertake the responsibility of cultural inheritance.

In conclusion, Anqing Foreign Language School has always attached great significance to the annual patriotic speech contest. Additionally, the three contestants are all outstanding ones who have been selected through various rounds of rigorous examinations. In the meantime, not only did this competition display the youthful talents of students from Anqing Foreign Language School, but more noticeably, it further stimulated their patriotic sentiments, enhancing their sense of mission and responsibility, and enabling them to contribute their youthful strength to the prosperity and strength of the motherland.
